Outdoor New England's goal has always been to bring the community together and being a community driven hub - We love to bring people together and of course the outdoors, especially the whitewater. So, it makes sense that we would also want to share the information on how one that isn't directly in our day-to-day community can still access our community. If someone is looking for a paddling buddy, we want to hook you up, if someone wants to know a great spot to paddle and what the possible risks of that section might be based on the most up to date information - the best way is to ask a local! We want to be able to give you a push in the right direction (down river)!
Here are some of the best ways to not only communicate with local paddlers in and around Franklin NH but around New England!
Call us here at the shop - Outdoor New England; 603-671-7028, We can give you updated information on the Lower Winni and the Upper Winni daily! We also might know someone who's paddling at the time you call! Being our local stomping grounds, we like to know what is going on day to day so chances are, we can answer your questions!
Another great source of information is to join the Facebook group, where's the whitewater at? This group has people from all over new England posting what they are running and up to date conditions of locations. Often, they are also looking for a paddle buddy so chances are you will be able to find someone rather quickly.
So, grab your gear and come up here and maybe after go grab a beer at any of our local brew spots. Vulgar Brewing, Kettlehead, and The Waterhorse Irish Pub, we will see you there!
