Whitewater is hard on paddles, and yours needs to be strong, responsive and trustworthy. We stock Werner's full whitewater line, including the Sho-Gun, Powerhouse, Sherpa, Surge, Strike, Rio and Nomad guide stick, plus Accent's affordable Rage and Rogue. You'll find straight and bent shaft options in fiberglass and carbon.

How to choose:

  • Blade size: big blades like the Sho-Gun and Powerhouse for power; mid-size like the Sherpa for control and comfort.
  • Length: shorter for playboating, longer for creeking and river running.
  • Shaft: bent shafts ease wrist strain; straight shafts are simpler and lighter.
