Rocks beat skulls. A good whitewater helmet is one of the most important pieces of gear you'll own. We carry Sweet Protection, WRSI and NRS helmets, from the popular WRSI Current and Trident to Sweet's Strutter, Rocker and full-face Rocker for steep creeking.

How to choose:

  • Coverage: full-cut helmets protect ears and temples; full-face helmets add jaw protection for creeking.
  • Fit: snug with no movement when you shake your head; adjust the pads and retention system.
  • Use: choose rafting and rescue-rated helmets for guiding and swiftwater work.
